You might be asking, why the change? Our new name truly speaks to how we serve our community. We’ve never been just one food bank. We’re a leader, supporting a dedicated network of 60+ agency members across our community.
And I want to assure you, one thing hasn’t changed. The incredible difference you’re making in our community.
You’ve kept food on families’ tables, even as our community’s food banks have faced the greatest demand in our lifetime. By December, we’re expecting to top 19,000 visits a month — almost 8,000 more than last December.
Because of you, neighbours have relief, security, and hope.
The children who had a carefree summer fuelled by fresh, nutritious food, thanks to your generous support of our End Summer Hunger campaign.
The senior who doesn’t have to worry about turning the heat on as the nights grow colder.
Students like Divya, who can turn their minds to their futures, instead of worrying about hunger.
It’s impossible for me to capture the scope of your impact in this short letter. I hope you’ll take some time to read our 2023 Annual Impact Report, to learn more about the difference you’re making.
