About the role
Join us as Committee Co-Chair Volunteer for the first annual Face Off Against Hunger event. This role will serve to support Food Banks Mississauga staff to raise funds for neighbours facing food insecurity in Mississauga.
Responsibilities

Co-Lead the Face Off Against Hunger Volunteer Committee and act as the main liaison with assigned staff

Facilitate Committee meetings

Keep all Committee members updated on communications

Oversee timelines and monitor progress and milestones

In partnership with Community Partnerships Coordinator, help in identifying risks and assist in creating a contingency plan (incl. Emergency response plan)

Act as main point of contact for all Committee members

Location
Virtual, with one in-person meeting monthly on the third Wednesday of every month; attendance on event day (May 1, 2027)
