What does Food Banks Mississauga do?
Food Banks Mississauga sources and distributes food through a network of more than 60 community food programs across the city. Together, this network provides food for almost 10 million meals each year while working toward a Mississauga where everyone is food secure.

Where is Food Banks Mississauga located and what are the office hours?
The Food Banks Mississauga office and warehouse are located at 4544 Eastgate Parkway, Mississauga, Ontario, L4W 3W6.
1. The office is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. It is closed Saturday and Sunday.
2. The warehouse is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. It is closed Saturday and Sunday.

Who should I contact about a food donation or food drive?
Select “Food Donations or Drives” in the contact form and provide details about the type and approximate quantity of food you would like to donate. Food businesses with larger commercial donations should select “Industry Food Donations.”

Yes. Food Banks Mississauga is a federally registered charitable organization. Its charitable registration number is 11892 7011 RR0001.

Do I need to provide proof of income or complete a means test to receive food support?
No. You do not need to provide proof of income or complete a means test to receive food support. During your first visit, you may be asked to provide proof of a Mississauga address and identification for each household member. This information helps the food program confirm your service area and provide the appropriate amount of support for your household. Contact your closest food program before your first visit as some locations require an appointment.

Every $1 donated provides $4 worth of healthy food to neighbours facing food insecurity. Your donation supports food distribution through more than 60 community food programs across Mississauga.
