Thank you to the Ontario Trillium Foundation for their generous grant of $60,000! They have been a longstanding supporter of Food Banks Mississauga, making significant contributions to our work to provide food support to the 1 in 13 Mississauga residents who now turn to us.
With this funding, we were able to:
☑️ Replace the windows in our warehouse
☑️ Add new racking in our warehouse
☑️ Install a new dock leveler in our warehouse
☑️ Set up an office for our Community Assist program
☑️ Set up a new boardroom space
Thanks to these necessary updates to our warehouse and office space, we can more efficiently provide food to the 56,000 neighbours in Mississauga who rely on us and our network of 60+ food programs for support.
