Thanksgiving is around the corner, but for our most vulnerable neighbours who are struggling to keep up with the rising costs of living, it may not be a cause for celebration. Over 30,000 neighbours visited a food bank in Mississauga last year – almost 7,300 of whom were first-time food bank users. They made over 243,000 food bank visits.
The reality is that 1 in 5 Canadians expects to need food from a community organization, like The Mississauga Food Bank, before the end of the year. That’s why we need your urgent support today.
