About the role
Join us as Volunteer Lead Volunteer for the first annual Face Off Against Hunger event. This role will serve to support Food Banks Mississauga staff to raise funds for neighbours facing food insecurity in Mississauga.
Responsibilities

Work with Volunteer Programs Specialist to coordinate volunteers on event day

Create volunteer orientation and recognition strategies

Manage volunteer communications

Assist in filling in last minute vacancies

Develop post-event survey and collect volunteer feedback

Co-design volunteer recruitment plan and timeline

Train volunteers on roles and responsibilities

10-15 hours per month

September 2026 - June 2027
Location
Virtual, with one in-person meeting monthly on the third Wednesday of every month; attendance on event day (May 1, 2027)
