Orlando Corporation Matches Year-End Donations up to $150,000 for Food Banks Mississauga’s Holiday Drive
As Food Banks Mississauga is 24% away from $3 million goal
From December 23 to 31, all monetary gifts made to Food Banks Mississauga’s 2025 Holiday Drive will be matched by the Orlando Corporation, up to $150,000. As of December 16, 2025, the campaign has raised over $2.29 million, which is 24% away from the organization’s largest and unprecedented goal of $3 million.
Orlando Corporation is renewing their support during a critical time, as Food Banks Mississauga saw a record-breaking half a million visits last year. This food insecurity emergency is not only affecting Mississauga residents, but across Ontario, with 1 million people visiting food banks 8.7 million times last year.
“More neighbours are falling further behind and turning to a food bank to feed themselves and their families,” says Meghan Nicholls, CEO of Food Banks Mississauga.

As you celebrate Christmas and ring in the new year with loved ones, please think of your neighbours in need. 49,000 food bank visitors rely on Food Banks Mississauga and our network of 60+ food programs, and we can only provide food to them because of your generosity. Help us reach our biggest goal ever of $3 million so your neighbours can look forward to the new year without wondering where their next meal will come from.”

By making a gift from December 23 to 31, your impact will be amplified thanks to Orlando Corporation matching all donations up to $150,000. Thanks to the match, every dollar you donate will double to provide food for two meals, so $100 will double to provide food for 200 meals. Monetary gifts enable Food Banks Mississauga to source and transport donated food or buy fresh, frozen, and shelf-stable food in large quantities at lower prices than in-store to reach people in need across Mississauga.

- Create a personalized fundraising page and rally your coworkers, community, school, and family to raise much-needed funds;
- Find volunteers at your local grocery store on December 20, where you can donate funds or food.
The 2025 Holiday Drive runs until January 9, 2026.
