$235,084 Raised for Food Banks Mississauga and Community Living Mississauga

Through Tim Hortons® Smile Cookie Campaign

The 2025 Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign raised a record-breaking $22.6 million across Canada. In Mississauga, $235,084 was raised by local Tim Hortons restaurants across the city, which will be split equally between joint recipients, Food Banks Mississauga and Community Living Mississauga, who will each receive $117,542.

“Thank you to Tim Hortons Restaurant Owners of Mississauga and our community for supporting neighbours in need through this year’s Smile Cookie campaign. The funds you raised will help provide healthy food for over 117,000 meals,” says Juanita Moore, COO of Food Banks Mississauga.

“We, alongside our network of over 60 food programs across Mississauga, are bracing for how economic uncertainty will impact the number of food bank visitors we serve and by supporting us through the Smile Cookie campaign, you are helping the over 56,000 neighbours who already rely on us for food support.”

“Community Living Mississauga is very fortunate to have such a longstanding relationship with Tim Hortons owners across our city,” said Keith Tansley, Executive Director at Community Living Mississauga. “We want to say thanks to them, as well as everyone who bought Smile Cookies, on behalf of the hundreds of children and youth who have an intellectual disability who have been able to connect with their community through our summer recreational programs, thanks to the funds raised by this campaign.”

Support children and families experiencing food insecurity

As the weather gets warmer and summer months approach, school meal programs across the city will shut down as the school year ends. This means that almost 16,000 kids who rely on this consistent food support will go without. Help End Summer Hunger and support children and families experiencing food insecurity this summer.
