2023 was a year of records we never, ever wanted to break.

Month after month, more of our neighbours faced hunger. In December alone, 16,071 people relied on us to help keep food on their tables—a shocking 25% increase since 2022.

It is no exaggeration to say that we couldn’t have been there without you.

You helped us grow our network to over 60 agency members, which means we’re reaching more of our neighbours facing hunger.

You helped us move into our new warehouse, giving us the space we needed to meet the rising need.

You gave much-needed relief to every child, family, senior, and household facing hunger during a time of crisis. With all my heart, thank you!

I’m especially grateful for your wholehearted support of our 2023 Holiday Drive. Thanks to you, kids had a hot bowl of soup waiting for them when they came in from playing in the snow. And families could spend the season making happy memories around the table instead of worrying about hunger.

As I look to the year ahead, there’s no doubt that we will face challenges. We may have said goodbye to 2023, but poverty and hunger aren’t going anywhere soon.
