Meet Franz, Student Volunteer
This week, we’re shining our spotlight on Franz, one of our student volunteers!
“I started volunteering at The Mississauga Food Bank in October of last year. I have tried out a variety of volunteer opportunities at The Mississauga Food Bank working in the warehouse. I truly enjoy volunteering, especially when I’m assigned at the Emergency Food Bank because I get to interact directly with the people who are benefiting from the service.
With my background in the medical profession, I love that I am able to help and care for others through this volunteer opportunity. Before coming to Canada myself, I was a nurse, and this brings me back to the important work of helping others.” Thank you, Franz, for helping create a Mississauga where no one goes hungry.
