Virtual Food Drive

Create an engaging learning experience for students in your classroom (or even the whole school!) with a Virtual Food Drive. It’s completely customizable, giving you and your students the opportunity to set your own fundraising goal, upload photos and craft personalized messages to encourage community support.

What are the benefits to hosting a virtual food drive at my school?
A virtual food drive in your classroom or school creates opportunities for teamwork and educating students about neighbours facing food insecurity in their own community. It also provides an opportunity to build social awareness.
How can I encourage participation at school and with parents and caregivers?
Our team is here to support you every step of the way! We can provide you with a sample letter to send to parents and caregivers and a list of fun and engaging fundraising activities and events that you can organize at your school. Use the contact form below to request more information.
Why is a Virtual Food Drive preferred over a standard food drive?
We can make every dollar stretch! For every $1 you raise, we can provide healthy and appropriate food for 1 meal to neighbours facing food insecurity. Our purchasing power allows us to source fresh and frozen food such as dairy, meat, grains and fruit and vegetables in bulk and at prices lower than retail. The funds raised in your Virtual Food Drive enable us to purchase the fresh food that your neighbours need.
Will virtual food drive donors receive a tax receipt?
Each donor to your virtual food drive will receive a tax receipt to the email address they provided shortly after making their donation.
What if they don't receive a tax receipt?
